What does my monthly gift support?
Your Helping Paw gift supports every part of SAFe Rescue’s work, from the daily essentials that keep the rescue running to the extra support that helps us say yes when a cat (or a community member) needs us most. That includes:
- Daily care for cats in our shelter and foster homes: food, litter, enrichment, cleaning supplies, and the basics that keep everyone safe and comfortable
- Medical care: vaccines, spay/neuter, medications, diagnostics, and treatment for cats with injuries, illness, or more complex needs
- The people who make rescue possible: trained staff time for animal care, behavior support, adoption services, foster coordination, volunteer coordination, and the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the rescue operating smoothly
- Community Support programs: helping cat owners in our region access support like pet pantry resources and wellness services, so cats can stay healthy and families can stay together when times are tough
Most importantly, monthly giving provides steady, reliable support. It’s what helps us plan ahead, respond quickly, and take on cats with higher needs without hesitation, because we know our community is behind them every single month.
Can I designate my Helping Paw gift for a specific purpose?
Yes. If you’d like to designate your monthly gift, please contact us at giving@seattleareafelinerescue.org or (206) 582-2615.
We’re happy to talk through options with you.
Are there any special benefits for Helping Paw members?
Helping Paw members are part of a special community and are invited to a yearly behind-the-scenes appreciation party, offered occasional event perks and special updates as opportunities arise, and are encouraged to visit the rescue for a behind-the-scenes tour!
To schedule a tour, just email or call us. We love welcoming our community into SAFe Rescue!
How do I upgrade my monthly gift?

Why does monthly giving matter so much?
Cats don’t arrive on a schedule. Medical needs don’t wait. Monthly giving allows us to show up every day with consistency, compassion, and readiness, knowing our community is standing behind us. Helping Paw Circle members make that possible.
